HWFG members have made more than 20 commitments, which are already improving the lives of nearly 50 people in more than 2 states of India. To expand HWFG’s reach, President Anil Gupta Engineer launched HWFG (India), a meeting focused on collaborative solutions for betterment of basic education especially in Rural Villages of India and which brings together undergraduate and graduate students to address pressing challenges in Rural India in poor , weaker and handicapped children of the society.
While some members join HWFG with fully-formed commitment ideas, others work with HWFG staff to develop their ideas and identify the best avenues for action. HWFG staff can offer members advice and expertise based on lessons that other organizations have learned. HWF Gurgaon started its initial working in the field of Environment in three districts of Rajasthan Viz; Ajmer, Jodhpur and Alwar. This organization is basically a brain child of Anil Gupta Engineer who thought about it while studying in 1988.
