HWF Gurgaon started its initial working in the field of Environment in three districts of Rajasthan Viz; Ajmer, Jodhpur and Alwar. This organization is basically a brain child of Anil Gupta Engineer who thought about it while studying in 1988.This group has many technocrats who have been working in the field of engineering, environment and mainly making contribution to the betterment of poor and weaker section of society by providing them educational support through books and sharing with poor students their practical experience which they have gained.
To aid assist, undertake, organize, conduct, establish, maintain, facilitate and promote all or any of the following activities.
- To strengthen, encourage and popularize the concept and philosophy of “Human Welfare Foundation”.
- To promote research, training, action and education for people's participation in various developmental processes.
- To promote public awareness regarding nationally acclaimed values through various innovative methods and through various media.
- To encourage and generate debates on various issues of national importance from time to time.
- To promote documentation in various forums and medium for furtherance of the above.
- To carry our support and promote campaigns to influence public opinion necessary for furtherance of the above objectives.
- To organize, conduct, sponsor seminars, workshops, conferences, training programmes, exchange visits, study tours etc for accomplishment of the above.
- To develop, distribute and circulate print, audio and audio-visual learning materials and software and to create facilities for acquisition storage production and dissemination of the same.
- To promote information, analysis and educational materials to different organizations having similar objectives.
- To interact and coordinate with various regional, national and international institutions and networks for attaining the objectives.
- To publish books, papers, monographs and other educational materials to different organizations having similar objectives.
- To offer fellowships, scholarships, prizes, stipends etc. in furtherance of the objectives of the society viz; Education.
- To provide medical support/assistance to the socially and economically weaker sections of the society.
- To promote and provide moral support and financial support to physically handicapped persons as well as economic aid to the existing institutions providing all sorts of services to the physically handicapped persons of the society.
- To adopt orphans and deaf & dumb persons of the society for providing education, technical education to enable them to become self reliant to earn their livelihood.
- To promote, support and provide all sorts of help including financial help to the existing institutions providing services to orphans, Centers and Deaf & Dumb Schools.
- To develop Basic amenities like water, electricity and sanitation facilities in the villages.
- To develop small capacity water treatment plants in the villages.
- To protect wild life and support state and central governments in this act.
- To provide shelter and to support economic aid to the existing Gaoshala Centers.
- To assist and take assistance from and collaborate with other institutions with similar activities.
- To emphasize on integrated approach to rural development and to provide these services from one centre so that the rural community needing these services do not have to go to different places.
- To bring about social change through economic change.
- To involve as many technical, engineering colleges/institutions as possible to carry out specific projects in rural areas where their skills and intermediate technology experience will be of greater help.
